Gaming should always be entertainment. We build responsible gaming into our technology, so the operators who use it can protect their players.
Our role as a technology supplier
Troll Tech is a business-to-business (B2B) supplier. We do not offer gambling to the public. Our platform and games are used by licensed operators, who are responsible for running their gambling services in line with the laws and licence conditions of each market.
Our responsibility is to give those operators the tools they need to identify risk, protect players and meet their regulatory obligations, and to make those tools easy to use.
Player protection tools in our platform
Our platform includes a full set of responsible gaming tools that operators can configure for their markets:
Deposit limits
Daily, weekly and monthly limits on how much a player can deposit.
Loss and wager limits
Caps on how much a player can lose or stake over a period.
Session limits
Limits on how long a player can play in one session.
Reality checks
Regular reminders showing how long a player has been playing.
Cool-off periods
Short breaks from play that a player can choose at any time.
Self-exclusion
Longer-term blocking of an account at the player's request.
Age and identity checks
KYC and age verification to keep minors and fraud out.
Reports
Reporting that helps operators spot and follow up on risky play.
Preventing underage gambling
Gambling is for adults only. Our platform supports age and identity verification at registration, and we require the operators we work with to prevent anyone under the legal age from playing. Our own website is for industry professionals aged 18 and over and asks every visitor to confirm their age.
Fair and transparent games
Our games use a random number generator (RNG), and the rules, payouts and return to player (RTP) of every game are set by the operator in line with the requirements of their market. Operators should always show players clear game rules and RTP information.
Our commitment
- We build responsible gaming features into every product we supply.
- We support operators in meeting the responsible gaming rules of each market they operate in.
- We keep improving our player protection tools as regulations and best practices develop.
- We train our team to understand gambling-related harm and responsible gaming.
